1. Combine a powdered NaOH compound with water inside the tube.

2. Utilize the fan to bring in CO2 from the atmosphere. Algae, inside the tube, will absorb around 5% of the CO2 intake, on average. And the rest shall be broken down by the forced chemical reaction between carbon from CO2 and sodium from NaCL.

3. Excess liquid solution and non-environmentally harmful byproducts will go into the carbon storage container which will later be absorbed by the soil when poured outside of the device.

My Story
My Journey
My journey began in school when I was asked to do an independent research project. This project launched me into creating a device that would help mitigate climate change and its effects. After creating a prototype, the device itself was able to capture 50-100ppm of carbon from the atmosphere in an enclosed space. As I began to do more research, I was also able to become a Finalist for the RoundPier Entrepreneurship Competition and 2nd in my state at the Future Business Leaders of America competition in Sales Presentation. The support and advice I've gotten has allowed me to continue on my journey of helping consumers with their health and wellness as well as fighting against climate change.
